For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2 v 10

We are all shaped by God to serve Him in some way. We want to help you discover your shape and where you fit in to God’s mission here at St Peter’s. There are lots of opportunities to find out. Try things out, see how they go. If it’s not you, try something else! All our teams are volunteer led and they would love you to join in. Hosting

Welcome is fundamental to God’s mission. Every service has a host team to welcome those who come, to make sure everyone feels at home, finds a seat for the service and is served a drink.

Set Up Team

We don’t have our own building so a dedicated team helps to get set up before the service. Anyone who can get to church a little earlier can really make a difference here.

Audio Visual

As we gather to hear God’s Word each Sunday, we need to hear and see what we’re doing! Any technically minded people can be of huge service to the rest of us in this way.

Music Ministry

As we gather each Sunday, our musicians help us to connect with God and encourage one another as we sing his praises. If you can sing or play anything, we’d love to hear from you!

Children & Youth

Whether regular Sunday sessions or one off events, we’d love everyone to play their part in telling the next generation. There are all sorts of roles big and small (subject to DBS checks).

“Going” Teams

Going out to serve is a core value at St Peter’s. We’re all called to serve God’s mission everyday out on our frontlines. We also work together to serve our local community. Get involved through the Family Hour,  Seniors or Holiday Club Teams or with one of our mission partnerships.

Pastoral Team

While the clergy take a lead in pastoral care, they can’t do it all themselves! We need people who can give lifts, cook meals, make hospital visits and all sorts of other practical tasks.

Events & hospitality

We love getting together over food at St Peter’s so there are plenty of opportunities to practice the gift of hospitality whether cooking for individuals or church events.
